The Pittsburgh Steelers added a trio of players to their practice squad, including defensive tackle Henry Mondeaux, who the team released last week after acquiring cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon.

Pittsburgh also signed wide receiver Tyler Vaughns and linebacker Delontae Scott, while placing receiver Rico Bussey on the practice squad injured list.

Mondeaux, who cleared waivers on Monday, spent the entire 2019 season on the Steelers’ practice squad, but was promoted to the active roster in 2020. He saw action in eleven games recording five tackles, one tackle for loss and two quarterback hits.

Vaughns originally signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent following the 2021 NFL Draft. He caught 222 passes for 2,810 yards and 20 touchdowns in four seasons at Southern California.

Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Green Bay Packers in 2020, Scott played his college ball at SMU, where he posted 97 tackles, 36 tackles-for-loss, 18 sacks and five forced fumbles. He was released by the Packers last week.

Bussey was waived when the Steelers cut down their roster to 53 men, but re-signed to the team’s practice squad last Wednesday.
