Steelers to Return to Practice on Sunday

Published

on

The Steelers will have a second straight off day on Saturday after not practicing on Friday while waiting for the NFL to make a decision about the team’s game against the Baltimore Ravens that had been scheduled for Sunday.

That game has since been rescheduled to Tuesday, giving the team plenty of time prepare for the Ravens once more. The Steelers already practiced on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The Ravens will not have practiced when the teams take the field on Tuesday night, as their practice facility will remain closed through Monday in response to their ongoing COVID-19 outbreak that caused the game to be postponed twice.

The team will resume its practice schedule on Sunday with what would be a normal Friday practice session and will have a walkthrough on Monday as a normal Saturday before hosting the Ravens on Tuesday night at Heinz Field.

While the Steelers prepare in-person and the Ravens prepare virtually, the rest of the NFL will have its facilities shut down on Monday and Tuesday in an attempt to reduce the spread of the virus throughout the league after the Thanksgiving holiday.
