STEELERS TRANSACTIONS
The Steelers signed guard Max Scharping off the Washington Commanders practice squad, promoted running back Aaron Shampklin from their practice squad to their active roster, activated outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon from injured reserve, placed guard James Daniels on injured reserve, waived cornerback Darius Rush and safety Jalen Elliott.
The Steelers elevated wide receiver Brandon Johnson and running back Jonathan Ward from the practice squad for this week’s game.
They also signed outside linebacker Eku Leota and re-signed running back La’Mical Perine and inside linebacker Jacoby Windmon to their practice squad, and released fullback Jack Colletto and outside linebacker Marcus Haynes from their practice squad.

THE OTHER SIDE
Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence and wide receiver Brandin Cooks have been placed on the injured reserve list. Linebacker Micah Parsons has been ruled out. Cornerbacks Trevon Diggs (ankle) and Caelen Carson (shoulder) are questionable.
THE LAST TIME
Chris Boswell set the Steelers record with a 59-yard field goal and Ben Roethlisberger found tight end Eric Ebron for a game-winning touchdown with less than three minutes remaining in what became a 24-19 Steelers victory.
James Washington and JuJu Smith-Schuster also caught touchdown passes. CeeDee Lamb scored the lone Dallas touchdown, as Greg Zuerlien kicked four fields to contribute the rest of the Cowboys offense.

Cowboys defensive like coach Jeff Zgonina was a seventh-round draft pick of the Steelers in 1993 and spent his first two NFL season in Pittsburgh.
