? In an annual poll conducted by The Athletic’s Mike Jones, a few players ripped Acrisure Stadium while voting Pittsburgh as their least favorite road trip in the NFL.

“I would say Pittsburgh, because it smells like piss in their locker room,” one player said.

“Pittsburgh. Even though it’s my vibe: tough. It’s just always gray and s—ty weather there,” another added.

? Former Steelers free safety Ryan Clark wants to see Arthur Smith unleash Justin Fields.

“Take the seat belt off of Justin Fields early and let him cook,” Clark said on ESPN.

? The Steelers have had the toughest schedule of run defenses faced by any team this year. They get the No. 27 ranked Dallas Cowboys run defense on Sunday night.

? Tony Dungy interviewed Mike Tomlin for this week’s Steelers-Cowboys game on Sunday Night Football. Dungy hired Tomlin to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive backs coach in 2001. It was Tomlin’s first NFL job.

Dungy also played for the Steelers in the ’70s and was a defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach in the ’80s.

“I was at the Steelers offices today to interview Mike Tomlin for @SNFonNBC Cowboys-Steelers game this week. Being there brought back some great memories for me of my career with the Steelers and of Mike’s early days with the Bucs. I knew he was going to be a special coach and seeing what he’s done in Pittsburgh has been awesome. We should have a great game Sunday night,” Dungy wrote on X.
