PITTSBURGH — The Steelers got off to a quick start on offense for the second straight week as they drove right down the field in nine plays to punch it in for an opening-drive touchdown. Najee Harris got five carries for 22 yards and pounded the ball in from four yards out to get the opening drive touchdown.

Pittsburgh used a combination of the quick passing game and the interior run game to blow open the Packers defensive line. They had no answer for Pittsburgh throughout the drive. Harris also ran in the touchdown last Thursday night, but that one was from ten yards out. Just going into last week, their opening scripted drives were a disaster. But now, they have snapped some of that voodoo magic.

Their touchdown against the Titans was their first touchdown on an opening drive since December 18th, 2022, against the Carolina Panthers. Pittsburgh has not even scored points on their opening since last season’s game on January 1st against the Baltimore Ravens. That cold spell is now over, as they have scored in two straight games.

Najee Harris had found the endzone far more, too. With the Packers starting fast early, too, the game is already tied at 7-7. Romeo Doubs got that touchdown from Jordan Love, and both groups worked well to quickly get down the field.
