Watch: George Pickens Blocks for Jaylen Warren on TD

Steelers WR George Pickens

The Steelers are on the board against the Seahawks after an 18-yard touchdown run by Jaylen Warren. Warren went untouched into the end zone after making two cuts to get into the end zone for a touchdown. That was highlighted by George Pickens getting out in front and helping to lead Warren for the touchdown.

Pittsburgh did not hold the lead for long as the Seahawks responded after a big play by DK Metcalf for a touchdown and then Kenneth Walker running it in for a touchdown. Pittsburgh’s offense has moved the ball well, averaging 5.4 yards per carry, with Najee Harris and Warren running the ball right down the Seahawks throat.

Meanwhile, George Pickens has been targeted four times and has two receptions for 15 yards. He has shown some increased effort throughout the day, including making a tackle on a play that could have been a fumble by Diontae Johnson. The Steelers will need to keep the effort up to pull out a win, as the Seahawks’ offense is surging, and Pittsburgh’s injury-laden secondary could have a hard time holding up.

Mason Rudolph has done an excellent job, getting 44 yards on four of eight passing. The team has taken enough off Rudolph to allow the rest of the offense to work around him.
