? Pittsburgh Steelers strong safety DeShon Elliott took a shot at his former team the Miami Dolphins during an appearance on the Punch Line Podcast with Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey.

Elliott was with the Ravens from 2018-2021 before joining the Detroit Lions in 2022 and the Miami Dolphins in 2023. Last year in Miami, Elliott lost to the Ravens, 56-19. He expects a closer game this time around.

“This will be fun. This will be very fun. I haven’t been able to play against Baltimore the way I wanted to because last year I played for a team that was soft as f***,” Elliott told Humphrey. “There was some guys who were tough, but for like the majority of the team (they were) not mentally tough individuals. So to be on a team with a full team of mentally tough guys against another mentally tough team. AFC North ball. This is going to be fun.”

Dolphins cornerback Kader Kohou ripped Elliott for taking a shot at Miami.

“He’s not here for a reason, obviously. I don’t know why he would go on a podcast and say anything crazy like that,” Kohou said, via David Furones of the Sun Sentinel. “If that’s how he feels, that’s how he feels. He could have went on the podcast and said what he wanted to say without trying to throw shots at us. I feel like, when he leaves the Steelers and goes to another team, he’ll probably do the same thing. I got no respect for it. I didn’t think DeShon was the toughest guy.”

? NFL.com released its Steelers-Ravens preview for Sunday. The 10 analyst on the panel were split 5/5 on their picks.

? George Pickens has 11 receptions on 11 targets on 20+ yard targets this season. His 11 receptions on 20+ yards targets ranks first and his 97.7 receiving grade on such plays ranks second in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.

? ESPN analyst Matt Bowen posted George Pickens’ route tree and route/completion percentages with Russell Wilson at quarterback.

? George Pickens’ 24-yard catch in the fourth quarter against the Washington Commanders had a completion probability of just 14.2%. It was the most improbable catch of the week and tied for the ninth most improbable of the season.

? Steelers nose tackle Keeanu Benton had a sneaky big play on Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels late in Sunday’s game.

? George Pickens reaction to Mike Williams game-winnong 32-yard touchdown against the Commanders was something else.
