The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Las Vegas Raiders, 3-0, on Sunday. It was the first 3-0 game since 2007, which was the Steelers-Dolphins mud bowl game. Jeff Reed nailed a 24-yard field goal with 17 seconds remaining to give the Steelers a 3-0 victory over Miami. It was the latest first points scored in a game in NFL history

The New York Times postseason simulator has the Pittsburgh Steelers’ playoff chances at 26%. They were at 78% before the game against the Arizona Cardinals. However, if they win their next two against the Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals they’d be at 72%.

Despite beating the Steelers on Thursday night, the 3-10 New England Patriots got eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday.

Dorin Dickerson of 93.7 The Fan didn’t hold back on Mike Tomlin. He feels that Tomlin has lost the locker room, which means he has to go.

“You’re sitting there down 21-3 midway through the second quarter against a team that had scored 13 points in the last three games. You got embarrassed in back-to-back weeks. That tells me his guys that used to buy in, he’s lost that now. And so what else is there? That was a must-win game against the dregs of the NFL society. He’s lost, in my opinion, this team, so he’s gots to go,” Dickerson said.

Joe Flacco has five touchdown passes in two games this season. That’s just one touchdown fewer than Kenny Pickett, who’s started 12 games this year.

🎥 Sunday marked the 40th anniversary of Terry Bradshaw’s last game of his Hall of Fame career. His last play of his career came on a 10-yard touchdown pass to Calvin Sweeney in the second quarter. Bradshaw, who missed the first 14 games of the year after undergoing elbow surgery, re-injured his elbow on the pass. The Steelers went on to beat the New York Jets, 34-7. It was also the last Jets’ game at Shea Stadium.
