The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Las Vegas Raiders, 3-0, on Sunday. It was the first 3-0 game since 2007, which was the Steelers-Dolphins mud bowl game. Jeff Reed nailed a 24-yard field goal with 17 seconds remaining to give the Steelers a 3-0 victory over Miami. It was the latest first points scored in a game in NFL history

The New York Times postseason simulator has the Pittsburgh Steelers’ playoff chances at 26%. They were at 78% before the game against the Arizona Cardinals. However, if they win their next two against the Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals they’d be at 72%.
Despite beating the Steelers on Thursday night, the 3-10 New England Patriots got eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday.

🎥 Sunday marked the 40th anniversary of Terry Bradshaw’s last game of his Hall of Fame career. His last play of his career came on a 10-yard touchdown pass to Calvin Sweeney in the second quarter. Bradshaw, who missed the first 14 games of the year after undergoing elbow surgery, re-injured his elbow on the pass. The Steelers went on to beat the New York Jets, 34-7. It was also the last Jets’ game at Shea Stadium.
