All 91 is a Pittsburgh Steelers Now series profiling each of the 91 members of the Steelers 2019 training camp roster.
55 • Devin Bush, rookie inside linebacker
Last year: Played in 12 games as a junior at Michigan before declaring early for the NFL Draft. The Steelers traded up to take him at No. 10 overall.
Stats: Finished his 2018 season with 66 tackles, 8 1/2 tackles for a loss, 4 1/2 sacks and four passes defended.
Accolades, Highlights:
Consensus All-American, Big Ten defensive player of the year and linebacker of the year, two-time All-Big Ten selection. Voted a team captain as a junior.
Camp outlook: The Steelers have experienced veterans at inside linebacker in Mark Barron and Vince Williams, so Bush won’t be guaranteed any playing time, but the Steelers have also seemingly given him every opportunity to make a very quick transition to NFL regular.
Projected role: Bush may not be a full-time starter at the beginning of the season, but he could be by the end of the season.
