Zach Wilson won’t play until Week 4 against the Steelers “at the earliest,” according to New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh. Saleh wants his quarterback to be at his best physically and mentally before playing him. Joe Flacco would start at quarterback for the Jets if Wilson can’t go in Week 4.

Lamar Jackson said the deadline for the Baltimore Ravens to reach a contract extension with him is on Friday.
Jackson also said that running back J.K Dobbins is still a “couple of weeks” from returning from knee surgery.
Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said right tackle La’el Collins is “locked in” from a mental standpoint and “really good” right now physically. Collins was dealing with a back injury in the early portion of training camp. T.J. Watt will be matched up against Collins on Sunday.
Taylor called the Steelers defensive front a difficult challenge.
