Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Alex Highsmith went off against the Titans. Per Next Gen Stats, Highsmith generated 11 pressures against the Titans, 9 of which came in matchups against Andre Dillard. Highsmith now leads the NFL in pressures (49) and win probability added on sacks (+74.0%). This is Highsmith’s fourth game this season with at least 7 pressures, tied with Micah Parsons for the most in the NFL. Highsmith finished with four total tackles, two sacks, two tackles for losses and five quarterback hits.

🏈 In the last two seasons, Kenny Pickett has the most go-ahead touchdown passes in the final five minutes with four. Pickett’s seven game-winning drives in the last two seasons ranks second to only Kirk Cousins.

🏈 Former Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell said “where’s tony toe tap when you need em???” on X after George Pickens failed to get his other foot down for a touchdown reception in the third quarter of Thursday night’s game. Bell was referencing former teammate Antonio Brown, who made a slew of toe-tapping catches in his career.

🏈 J.J. Watt was eating Sarris chocolate covered pretzels in his suite during Thursday night’s game. Watt wrote on X prior to the game, “Every time I walk into a Giant Eagle in this city, I am greeted by these Sarris Chocolate Pretzels and I can never pass them by. So damn good.”

🏈 The Steelers completely abandoned the middle of the field against the Titans. Only two of Kenny Pickett’s 19 completions traveled over 10 yards, also.

🎂 Happy Birthday to former Steelers outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley, born on November 3, 1984 in Saginaw, Michigan. Also, Happy Birthday to former Steelers linebacker Loren Toews, born on November 3, 1951 in Dinuba, California.

🎥 On Amazon Prime’s postgame show, Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt spoke passionately on what it’s like to play for Mike Tomlin. “Every single meeting is memorable. Every word is meaningful,” Watt said.
