J.J. Watt announced that he’ll be at the Pittsburgh Steelers game against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night to support his brother T.J. Watt.

He’s also looking forward to enjoying some Pittsburgh cuisine and being a Yinzer. “I’m here for the full experience. Let’s do this Steel City,” Watt wrote on X.

🏈 Cornerback Levi Wallace is the Steelers nominee for the NFL’s Salute to Service Award presented by USAA. The award recognizes NFL players, coaches, personnel and legends who make a commitment to supporting the military community.

Wallace comes from a military family as both of his parents, Wendy and the late Walter Wallace both served in the United States Air Force. His mother served for four years in a personnel role, while his father served for 21 years as an airplane mechanic and reached the rank of Master Sergeant.

🏈 According to Scott Kacsmar, Kenny Pickett has the second-lowest passing touchdown percentage in NFL history (minimum 500 passes). Pickett’s 2.04 passing touchdown percentage is behind just former Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback in the 1970s Gary Huff (2.03%). Behind Pickett is the likes of Chris Weinke (2.12%), DeShone Kizer (2.12%), Ryan Leaf (2.14%) and Brady Quinn (2.18%). To say the least, that’s not good company to be a part of.

🏈 Steelers All-Pro outside linebacker T.J. Watt (86 sacks) – appearing in his 94th career game vs. Tennessee – can surpass his brother J.J. Watt (87.5 sacks) for second-most sacks by a player in his first 100 career games since 1982, when the sack became an official statistic. Hall of Fame defensive tackle Reggie White recorded 105.

🏈 NFL.com released its preview for the Steelers-Titans game on Thursday night. Eight of the 10 analyst picked the Steelers to win.

🎂 Happy 82nd birthday to former Steelers center Ed Adamchik. Born Nov. 2, 1941 in Johnstown, Pa., Adamchik attended Johnstown High School and Pitt before being drafted in the 12th round of the 1963 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. He returned to school that fall, playing on the 9-1 “No Bowl” Pitt team before joining the Giants. He played two games over two seasons with New York, but returned to Pittsburgh after he was released in 1965. He played one season with the Steelers before deciding to quit football and focus on his real estate career. Adamchik was inducted into the Cambria County Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.

🎥 Steel City Star posted a throwback clip to one of the strangest moments in Steelers-Oilers/Titans history. … In 1989, the Oilers used four timeouts at the end of the first half to score a touchdown against Steelers. They ended up winning by seven points. The Steelers got payback later that season, however, as they beat the Oilers in overtime, 26-23, in the wild card round at the Astrodome.
