The Roethlisberger family got one more win in Cleveland and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens is in an Instagram feud with a Browns cornerback.

🏈 Pitt commit Zion Fowler caught passes from Kenny Pickett during a workout session in New Jersey recently. Fowler is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver out of St. Peters Prep in Jersey City, which is the same high school that Minkah Fitzpatrick went to. Fowler is a three-star recruit and is a part of Pitt’s 2023 recruiting class.

🏈 Ben Roethlisberger isn’t the only Roethlisberger who wins in Cleveland as his oldest son Ben Jr. won the Cleveland Junior Open Golf Tournament on Sunday.

🏈 Former Steelers linebacker Marcus Allen announced on Instagram that he attended the NFL broadcast bootcamp. Allen remains unsigned in free agency and there’s been no indication that the Steelers are interested in re-signing him, or if any team has expressed interest.

🏈 George Pickens called out Cleveland Browns cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. on Instagram over the weekend for disrespecting him.

🎂 Happy 74th birthday to Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Mel Blount, born on this day in 1948 in Vidalia, Georgia. The Steelers’ third-round pick in the 1970 NFL Draft, Blount played 14 NFL seasons, all with the Steelers, winning four Super Bowls. He was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1975, a six-time All-Pro, and a five-time Pro Bowler. After his playing career, he opened two locations of the Mel Blount Youth Home, one in his native Georgia and the other in Claysville, Pa. He was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.
