🏈 Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will be making his first trip to Acrisure Stadium as a member of the visiting team on Sunday, and he’s expecting a hostile environment.

“I’m expecting a hostile environment, fans that love football, love their team,” he said. “I honestly enjoy playing on the road. … It’s really a mindset. It’s going to be fun, though. You don’t get many chances to be in environments like this one.”

🏈 The Steelers are the third-luckiest team in the NFL, according to a model created by Gambling.com. Only the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys have been more fortunate, according to the model.

🏈 Steelers inside linebacker Elandon Roberts’ 14.4% run stop percentage ranks first in the NFL this season, according to Pro Football Focus.

🏈 The Steelers have seven wins this season but just seven touchdown passes. It’s the fewest passing touchdowns by a 7+ win team through 11 games since the 2004 Baltimore Ravens, per CBS Sports.

NFL.com released its preview for the Steelers-Cardinals game on Sunday. All 10 of the analysts picked the Steelers to win.

🎥 Ben Roethlisberger said on his Footbahlin podcast that he felt like former offensive coordinator Matt Canada wanted the quarterbacks coach to coach him when he was with the Steelers.

“I’ve never seen a team with two coordinators before. I would say this: as long as I’ve been there, I worked really closely with the offensive coordinator,” Roethlisberger said. “That was intentional, almost to the point where I felt like, at one point, (Bruce Arians) early on didn’t want a quarterback coach. Quarterback coaches are the go-between when you are butting heads with the coordinator. I’ve always worked closely with the coordinator, even when I had a quarterback coach. I didn’t feel that with Matt. It almost felt like Matt wanted to let the quarterback coach coach me.”

🎂 Happy 31st birthday to former Steelers cornerback Doran Grant, born on Nov. 30, 1992 in Akron, Ohio. Grant was a fourth-round pick of the Steelers in 2015 out of Ohio State. He spent one season with the Steelers, playing in three games and recording no statistics.

Grant was cut by the Steelers coming out of training camp in 2016 and caught on with the Buffalo Bills. He bounced from there to the New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears and was in the NFL through the end of the 2018 season but never played in another regular-season game.

Grant also played for the Arizona Hotshots and Atlanta Legends of the AAF in 2019, the DC Defenders of the XFL in 2020 and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL in 2020.
