The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson on a pre-draft visit on Tuesday, the 30th reported visit of their pre-draft cycle.

Henderson comes to Pittsburgh after the top Steelers brass already scouted him at the 2025 NFL Combine and the Ohio State pro day. Henderson was among the players that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Omar Khan met with extensively on the evening before that pro day in Columbus.

A projected second-round pick, the Steelers would likely have to make a trade in order to land Henderson, as they sent their second-round pick to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for DK Metcalf.

Henderson rushed for 3,761 yards over four seasons at Ohio State, earning significant playing time as a true freshman in 2021, breaking Archie Griffin’s single-game rushing record for a freshman.

Despite splitting time with fellow top draft prospect Quinshon Judkins, Henderson rushed for 1,016 yards in 2024, doing so on just 144 carries with an impressive 7.1 yards per carry average. He also caught 27 passes for 284 yards and scored 11 total touchdowns.

The 5-foot-10, 202-pound back is a bit undersized, but posted excellent athletic testing at the NFL Combine, with a 4.43-second 40-yard dash, a 38.5-inch vertical and a 10-foot-8 broad jump for an 8.87 Relative Athletic Score.

In addition to Henderson, the Steelers also hosted UCF running back R.J. Harvey on Tuesday. His visit was previously reported. They are the 28th and 29th countable visitors to UPMC Rooney Sports Complex this pre-draft cycle, with Toledo defensive tackle Darius Alexander reported as the 30th and final visitor.

That means that potential first-round picks like Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron, Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant and Ole Miss defensive tackle Walter Nolen will not take visits to Pittsburgh.

The Steelers have had both of their first-round picks and four of their six Day Two picks in for pre-draft visits in two years of the draft being run by Omar Khan and Andy Weidl.
