For the first time this preseason, the Pittsburgh Steelers will play live on national television when they face the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night.

The Steelers and Falcons will kick off from Mercedes-Benz Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday night and will be televised nationally on NFL Network. The game will be televised in the Pittsburgh market on KDKA-TV. Local viewers can also watch on KDKA.com. The NFL Network feed is subject to being blacked out in the Pittsburgh area.

Bob Pompeani, Charlie Batch and Missi Matthews will once again have the local call of the game on KDKA. The NFL Network broadcast will have Justin Kutcher on play-by-play, Coy Wire and D.J. Shockley as color broadcasters and Jen Hale on the sideline.

The game will also be broadcast on the Steelers Radio Network and flagship WDVE-FM Pittsburgh with Bill Hillgrove, Craig Wolfley and Max Starks on that call.

After Thursday’s preseason game, the Steelers are scheduled to have five more nationally televised broadcasts, against the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football on Sept. 18, at the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Night Football on Sept. 24, two games on Thursday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans on Nov. 2 and New England Patriots on Dec. 7, and a Saturday afternoon game on NBC against the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 23. The national broadcast schedule is subject to change thanks to expanded flex scheduling for this season.

Out-of-town fans that want to be guaranteed to see every Steelers game can purchase NFL Sunday Ticket, which has moved from DirecTV to YouTube for the 2023 season. Plans to purchase Sunday Ticket with YouTube TV start at $299 annually.
