The Pittsburgh Steelers have released rookie linebacker Calvin Bundage, the club announced Tuesday.

Signed as an undrafted free agent on May 1, Bundage was a three-year starter for Oklahoma State.

Although he missed the Cowboys’ 2019 campaign due to injury, Bundage tallied 149 total tackles, 23 tackles-for-loss and 12 sacks over his career in Stillwater. He was named honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2018 and 2020.

The transaction is one of two cuts made by the Steelers to pave the way for the signings of edge rusher Melvin Ingram and offensive tackle Chaz Green.
