The Titans are preparing to bring in a rookie quarterback and many players who have not been in Pittsburgh before, so the team took an approach to getting them acclimated at practice before they paly the Steelers. Played during the apex of any game at Acrisure Stadium, the Titans blasted Styx’s “Renegade” at practice on Tuesday in hopes that it could get the team a bit more in tune with what Pittsburgh will be like.

Titans quarterback Will Levis had the Steelers game circled on his calendar even before he knew he would play. Starting his college career at Penn State, he knows all about the enthusiasm that Pittsburgh brings to the Steelers, and he hopes to experience that on Thursday night.

“Playing or not, I’ve had this game circled on the schedule because of how great the environment is going to be,” Levis said. “I know their fans are going to come out and it’s going to be a nice environment. So, we are ready to handle it. I am looking forward to taking it all in and then just doing my thing.”

This will be the first road game that Levis plays in his entire career. The Titans have yet to win a game on the road but are coming off a blistering hot win against the Falcons, where Levis threw for four touchdowns, three of which found the hands of DeAndre Hopkins. He offers an entirely new dynamic to Ryan Tannehill, who is out with an ankle injury, and so the Steelers will see a new look version of the Titans offense.

The Steelera are in the midst of a three-game home stretch after falling to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday 20-10. There was controversy surrounding that, with Jaguars safeties Rayshawn Jenkins and Andrew Wingard rubbing it in the Steelers’ faces by celebrating with a Terrible Towel after Wingard’s interception.
