🏈 Tom Pelissero of NFL Network said frustration is mounting in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ locker room over the quarterback situation.
“From everything I’ve been told, is not solely to Cam Heyward. There are other people, certainly in the organization, the locker room, who are just going like, ‘What are we doing? We’re back for offseason workouts in 10 days. We’re coming up on the draft. What is the plan?’” Pelissero said on the Rich Eisen Show.
🏈 Former Texas wide receiver and current NFL Draft prospect Isaiah Bond turned himself in to Frisco (TX) Police on Thursday morning for a matter related to an outstanding warrant for sexual assault, Frisco PD told The Insiders. He posted bond and was subsequently released.
“Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false,” Bond said in a statement, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. “I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation. Unfortunately, claims like these prove to be harmful to all involved, absent full review. I kindly request that all reserve judgement until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence.”
